36-2. Conversion of Salary to Hourly Rate

For the purpose of prorating an employee’s salary to an hourly rate, no distinction shall be made between elementary, middle and high school teachers or clinicians. Hourly rates shall be determined by using 7 hours as the base length of the day and 6.25 hours as the base duty day, regardless of the fact that high school teachers have a 7.25-hour base length of the day and a 6.42-hour base duty day.
