36-11. After-School Rate of Pay

36-11.1. Non-Instructional Rate of Pay.

Except as provided in Appendix A-3F, any bargaining unit employee employed in an after-school program in a non-instructional capacity shall be compensated at the rate of $42.13 effective July 1, 2019, $43.39 effective July 1, 2020, $44.69 effective July 1, 2021, $46.26 effective July 1, 2022, $47.88 effective July 1, 2023, as set forth in Appendix A-3H. Such compensation shall not be subject to pension pick up.

36-11.2. Instructional Rate of Pay.

Any bargaining unit employee employed in an after-school program in an instructional capacity shall be compensated at the rate of $49.05 effective July 1, 2019, $50.52 effective July 1, 2020, $52.04 effective July 1, 2021, $53.86 effective July 1, 2022, $55.74 effective July 1, 2023, as set forth in Appendix A-3H. Such compensation shall not be subject to pension pick up. For purposes of this Section, the term “instructional” shall be defined as teaching activities in a core content area, which requires certification in the content area to conduct required assessments and instruction. Core content area means mathematics, reading/literacy and science. Examples of instructional activities include enrichment academies, AIM High Tutoring and Step Up to K and 3rd Grade.
