Notice of Resignation or Retirement |

All bargaining unit employees shall give written notice of intention to resign or retire at least ten school days prior to the effective date thereof. Such notice shall be filed with the administrator of the work location and a copy shall be filed with the BOARD. No employee who on or after February 1 of a school year submits a notice of resignation or retirement that is effective at the end of that school year shall be laid off or honorably terminated prior to the effective date of his or her resignation or retirement.
